Defendant, Scott Campbell, appeals the judgment of conviction entered following his guilty plea to possession of a controlled substance. He also appeals the sentence imposed. We affirm.

Police officers who were investigating two empty cars parked in a no-parking area stopped defendant to determine whether he owned one of the cars. Defendant told the officers that he did and, upon further ques tioning, led the officers to an area where he and three companions had been sitting. The officers found a box containing cocaine, two vials of liquid, and hypodermic needles.
