| Appellant Carmella Bell appeals from the circuit court’s dismissal with prejudice of her petition to inherit from the Estate of Carl McDonald as a pretermitted child. On appeal, appellant argues (1) that the circuit court erred in finding that she did not meet the statutory requirements to inherit as an illegitimate child under Ark. Code Ann. § 28-9-209(d) and in dismissing her petition on this basis; and (2) that the circuit court’s interpretation and application of the statute violated her rights to due process and equal protection under the United States…
