The defendant, Charles P. Davis, appeals from his conviction for armed robbery following a jury trial. He was sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment. One issue is raised in this appeal: whether the trial court erred in permitting the State to elicit evidence of threats made against a State witness by a co-defendant and a defense witness. The defendant argues that he was substantially prejudiced by the State’s presentation of such evidence.
