¶ 1. Korry L. Ardell appeals from a circuit court order denying his request for a writ of mandamus. Ardell sought disclosure of certain public records from the Milwaukee Board of School Directors ("MBSD") relating to an MBSD employee. The circuit court denied Ardell's request, concluding that the MBSD's concern for the safety and welfare of its employee outweighed the public policy interest in disclosure.
