Claimant in this case has appealed from the order of the workmen’s compensation board reversing the award made by the referee and disallowing the claim. The testimony clearly establishes, as the board stated in its opinion, that claimant *439suffered an accident on September 30,1950, while acting within the course of his employment with defendant, causing claimant to suffer a small incomplete inguinal hernia, and that notice of the occurrence was not given to defendant until four days later.
