The initial complaint in this action was filed on behalf of the members of the law firm of Mirkin, Barre, Saltzstein, Gordon, Hermann & Kreisberg, P. C. (“Mirkin Barre”), against various officials involved in the administration or investigation of the Suffolk County Civil Service Employees Association (“CSEA”) Welfare Fund and Legal Services Fund.
