Kirk v. Iowa District Court for Jefferson County

HABHAB, Judge.

In this certiorari proceeding, we are asked to determine whether the district court erred in finding plaintiff Beverly Ann Kirk in contempt and punishing her for violating the visitation provisions of her dissolution decree.

The district court dissolved the marriage of Bill and Beverly Kirk in March 1990. The court divided the parties’ assets and debts, ordered Beverly to pay a property settlement, and ordered Bill to pay child support.
