Plaintiffs in this action are five related entities involved in the development of certain environmental technologies, referred to here as “Cement-Lock,” “ACI-MET,” and “GasTech” technologies. In short, Plaintiffs claim that their investments in these technologies were misappropriated and misused. In May 2005, Plaintiffs Gas Technology Institute (“GTI”), Gas Research Institute (“GRI”), and Endesco Clean Harbors LLC (“ECH”) filed their initial seven-count complaint against dozens of Defendants.
