The plaintiff, Ronald Schroeder, was fired from his job as the City of Vassar’s director of public services. He brought suit alleging that his termination was a result of complaints he made about acts of sexual harassment by fellow city workers, and he alleges that the defendants’ actions were unlawful under the First Amendment, the Michigan Whistleblowers Protection Act, Mich.
