*640In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendants appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Ruditzky, J.), dated June 5, 2006, which denied their motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint and granted the plaintiffs motion for summary judgment on the issue of liability on the Labor Law § 240 (1) claim.

Ordered that the order is modified, on the law, by deleting the provision thereof denying those branches of the defendants’ motion which were for summary judgment dismissing the Labor Law § 200 and common-law negligence claims insofar as asserted…
