This action in assumpsit was brought to collect additional death benefits claimed under the provisions of three policies of insurance on the life of the plaintiff’s husband, who died shortly after sustaining personal injuries in a collision between an automobile and a motor bike operated by him. The case was tried to a superior court justice, sitting with a jury, which returned a verdict for the plaintiff. The trial justice thereupon granted the defendant’s motion for a directed verdict, on which motion he had reserved decision in accordance with rule No. 46 of the superior court. The case is…
