This was an action by Stephen Crawford, as administrator of the estate of his infant daughter, Margaret Crawford, deceased, against Simons-Mayrant Company, a corporation under the laws of the State of South Carolina, commenced by service of summons and complaint July 30, 1925, in the Court of Common Pleas for Charleston County. The action was for the benefit of the child’s parents for alleged damages in the sum of $30,000, actual and punitive, for injuries resulting in the death of said infant daughter, alleged to have been caused by…
