RAMSEY, District Judge.

This case was commenced by a complaint, filed by counsel on January 28, 1982, in which the plaintiff invoked this Court’s jurisdiction pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 405(g) (1976, as amended), seeking judicial review of the defendant’s final decision denying her entitlement to Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits under Title XVI of the Social Security Act. 1 The defendant has furnished a copy of the administrative transcript, and the parties have filed cross motions for summary judgment, as to which no hearing is necessary.
