MOORE, Circuit Judge.

Frank Rich appeals from a judgment of conviction after a jury trial for violations of the narcotics laws and for a conspiracy to violate these laws. The indictment under which Rich was tried contained fourteen counts and named fifteen defendants as well as nine additional co-conspirators. Rich was tried with three other defendants, Anthony Car-minati, William McKenney and Michael Galgano, who were indicted with Rich in the conspiracy count (Count 14).
