This suit was brought by appellee against appellant to recover damages for the alleged wrongful obstruction by appellant of the channel of the Neches river in Tyler county, by reason of which it is alleged appellee lost a number of logs which he was rafting down said river to market, and was caused extra expense and loss of time in getting those of his said logs to market which were not lost because of the obstruction. The damages claimed in the aggregate amounted to the sum of $2,723.25.
