This action is instituted by Roland L. Somers to collect old age insurance benefits under the Social Security Act for the years 1962 and 1963. On July 31, 1964, the hearing examiner, acting as the authorized representative of the Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare, determined that plaintiff was entitled to old age benefits for the year 1962, subject to deduction of $150.00 based on income of $1,500.00.
