SCHALLER, J.
The named defendant, Thomas J. Picinich,1 appeals from the judgment rendered by the trial court in favor of the plaintiff, the city of New London, pursuant to the defendant’s appeal and application for review of a statement of compensation for condemnation. On appeal, the defendant claims that the trial court improperly determined the highest and best use of the condemned property.
