Plaintiffs, who are husband and wife, sued to recover damages for the death of their minor unmarried'son which they charge was caused by negligence of defendant. The answer is a general denial and a plea of contributory negligence. A verdict was returned for plaintiffs in the sum of • twenty'ñve hundred dollars, but afterward defendant’s motion for a new trial, which alleged a number of grounds, was sustained on the sole ground of an excessive verdict.
