On December 16, 1909, W. M. Faison purchased from R. F. Donaldson a lot of land containing one acre, designated as lot- number 50 according to a recorded plat. On February 16, 1912, Faison, as head of a family, filed an application for homestead, in which he had set apart as exempt “one acre of land, to wit, bounded north by R. F. Donaldson, east and west by lands of C. W. Brannon, and south by lands of J. L. Matthews.” On November 23, 1925, Donaldson conveyed by deed to Faison certain lots described therein as lots 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, and 41, according to the recorded…
