This is a suit in equity, brought in March, 1877, in the Circuit Court of the United States for the Southern District of Ohio, by James Sargent, the appellant, against the Hall Safe' .and Lock Company and others, the appellees, for the infringement of íetters-patent No. 186,369, granted to Sargent, January 16, 1877, for improvements in time-locks.
