Because of the complexity of the subject matter of this *1009medical malpractice action involving surgery and diseases of the eye, plaintiffs’ counsel made arrangements to have a medical expert present at the deposition of defendant Pei-Fei Lee (hereinafter defendant) to aid in understanding the testimony and formulating questions.
