OPINION

{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Marcus L. Burks ("appellant"), appeals the judgment of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, which convicted appellant, pursuant to a jury trial, of felonious assault and improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation, both with accompanying specifications. The trial court also convicted appellant, pursuant to a bench trial, of having a weapon under disability.
