Action by The Denver Engineering Works Company against The Gates Iron Works'. The complaint alleged that between the 26th day of November, 1896, and the 4th day of February, 1897, the plaintiff,, at the request of -the defendant, sold and delivered to the defendant certain goods, wares and merchandise of the reasonable value of $685.92, which sum the defendant promised and agreed to pay to the plaintiff.
