Reversing.

Lon McKinney was the owner of a tract of land located in McCracken county in Mayfield Creek drainage district No. 1. The land was assessed for the costs of. draining the district for the years 1921, to 1926, inclusive, but none of the assessments have ever been paid. On March 6, 1922, the property was sold by the sheriff of McCracken county for the taxes due for the year 1921. The board of drainage commissioners of McCracken county became the purchaser and received from the sheriff a deed to the land. Thereafter McKinney remained in the possession of…
