This is an action for the foreclosure of a mortgage. The summons and complaint, in the usual form, were served on the 15th of November, 1858. On the 8th of December following, the defendants, by their attorneys, Spooner and Dale, entered their appearance. On the 28th of April, 1859, the plaintiff, after due notice to the attorneys of the defendants, applied to the court for judgment.
