On 2 September 2003, defendant Keith Lavoris Hall (“defendant”) was indicted with four counts of first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy to commit, robbery with a dangerous weapon. Defendant’s trial commenced at the 23 October 2006 Criminal Session of Gaston County Superior Court. The relevant evidence presented at trial tended to show the following: In August of 2003, Darryl Brown and Billy Collins lived together in a house located at 110 River Buff Lane in Belmont.
