On September 16, 1998, the People, joined by defendant, made an oral application at the pretrial conference conducted by this court to seal the moving papers, responses and decisions of the court relating to the People’s application to introduce evidence at trial pursuant to People v Molineux (168 NY 264 [1901]), and People v Sandoval (34 NY2d 371 [1974]), of uncharged criminal, vicious or immoral acts allegedly committed by defendant.
