REQUESTED BY: Senator George Coordsen District No. 32 1. Whether an amendment to the claims bill, LB 811, is constitutional when it seeks to appropriate additional funds to pay a claim which has already been settled, and when a full, complete, and legally binding release has been executed by all of the parties involved?

2. Whether the Legislature, by an amendment to the claims bill, appropriate funds to pay a claim which has not yet been presented to the State Claims Board?
