The parties will, be referred to in this opinion as they appeared in the court below. Plaintiff instituted its action in the district court of Oklahoma county, wherein it sought judgment against the defendants on a promissory note executed by the defendants Anna E. Wilson and James Alexander Wilson on January 24, 1929, said note being originally made payable to the defendant Atlas Mortgage & Bond Company, and assigned to the plaintiff on March 19, 1929.
