This is a suit in the nature of a bill of interpleader. There is no controversy here over the pleadings. The facts upon ■which the case arises are set out in an agreed statement of facts, and may be briefly stated as follows:

Chas. G. Ross, as Collector of Revenue of Pemiscot County, filed a petition returnable to the March Term, 1932, of the circuit court of that county to enforce the collection of delinquent State and county taxes due and payable in the years 1928 and 1929 on 240 acres of land in Pemiscot County.
