This action was instituted by the plaintiff to recover of the defendant (the Washington and Old Dominion Railway, which operates an electric railway from Washington, D. C., to Great Falls, in Fairfax county, Virginia), the suml of $10,000.00 for death of Scott Van *860Sickler which resulted from a collision between bis automobile, which he, himself, was driving, and the company’s electric car, designated in the record as car No. 14.
