The petitioners, who are landlords of three adjoining buildings operated as a single unit and known as 530 Broadway, New York City, applied to the Supreme Court for an order requiring the tenants occupying commercial space in said premises to show cause why the emergency rents being paid by said tenants should not be increased. There are four stores in the premises. Two of the stores were used for retail business.
