SEFTON, Judge:

The appellant was tried by a special court-martial composed of members on 27 July, 9 and 27 August, and 7-10 September 1993, and convicted of two specifications of the wrongful use of methamphetamine and two specifications of unauthorized absence totaling three days. Arts. 86 and 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 886 and 912a (1994)[hereinafter UCMJ]. She was sentenced to six months of confinement with hard labor, a bad-conduct discharge, forfeitures of $542.00 per month for 6 months, and reduction in grade to E-l.
