DECISION AND ORDER
LARIMER, District Judge.
INTRODUCTION
This is an action brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. §§ 405(g) to review the final determination of the Commissioner of the Social Security Administration (“the Commissioner”) that Dennis Steficek (“plaintiff’) is not disabled, and, therefore, is not entitled to benefits under the Social Security Act (“the Act”). Plaintiff applied for disability insurance benefits and Supplemental Security Income benefits on February 21,1996, alleging a disability onset date of February 2, 1996.
