Background

In this adversary proceeding, Plaintiff Edward Lemos, a Chapter 7 debtor, seeks to establish that certain funds received after the filing of his bankruptcy petition through the federal Crop Loss Disaster Assistance Program (“CLDAP”) are not property of his bankruptcy estate. The Defendant, Chapter 7 trustee, Bernie Ra-kozy, contends the money is property of the bankruptcy estate and should be distributed to creditors.
