MEMORANDUM AND ORDER
BILL H. BRISTER, Bankruptcy Judge.
Arville Calvin Nivens and Danny Calvin Nivens, father and son, conducted a farming business as a partnership under the name of Nivens and Nivens. Each filed petition for order for relief under Chapter 7 of Title 11, United States Code, on March 18, 1982. The 1981 crop year was the last year in which they operated the farming partnership. As a result of the farming in the 1981 crop year they became entitled to receive “deficiency” payments totalling $36,648.70 and “low yield” or “disaster” payments totalling $912.05 from the Department of…
