Plaintiff is an incorporated company engaged in the business of an architect and defendant is a town school district. Plaintiff sued on a contract to recover for architectural services rendered and for the loss of prospective profits which it would have earned if it had been permitted to complete the contract. The contract is made a part of the petition. It was executed May 29, 1929, and was signed by the president and secretary of the plaintiff under its seal, and signed by the president and secretary of the school board of the defendant district.
