OPINION

DAUGHTREY, Judge.

This is an appeal by Jessie Lee Gwinn from his convictions of burglary in the first degree and murder in the second degree, for which he received sentences of ten to fifteen years and twenty-three years imprisonment, respectively. On appeal the defendant challenges (1) the admissibility of his pre-trial confession, (2) the sufficiency of the evidence to support the jury’s verdict, (3) the trial court’s refusal to give two requested jury instructions, and (4) the validity of the second degree murder verdict.
