These cases, which were heard together, are applications, to the Supreme Court, in the exercise of its original jurisdiction, for writs of mandamus. The petitioners are respectively the holders of certain bonds issued by the County Commissioners of Lexington County, as the corporate agents of the three townships mentioned in the petitions, in payment of the amounts subscribed by said townships to the capital stock of the Columbia, Newberry and Laurens Railroad Company, in 1886.
