Burch, J.:

The action was one to foreclose a mechanic’s lien. Other lien claimants and a mortgagee were made parties defendant. All the mechanics’ liens were given priority over the mortgage, and the mortgagee, the Security Savings and Loan Association, appeals.

Nina A.-Banker owned a lot in the city of Salina, on which a dwelling house was erected. Plaintiff contracted with the owner’s *633husband to do the plumbing. The loan association contends no lien for plumbing was perfected because- of noncompliance with a city ordinance. The ordinance made it…
