OPINION

DONALD RUSSELL, Circuit Judge:

Defendant Philip S. Morrell appeals the district court’s decision to sentence him as an armed career criminal under 18 U.S.C. § 924(e). We affirm.

On September 20, 1993, a federal grand jury in the Northern District of West Virginia returned an indictment charging Morrell with two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1).
