This case came before the Supreme Court on February 27, 2007, on appeal of the defendant, Timothy Stone (Stone or defendant), from a Superior Court judgment of conviction, in connection with a multi-count indictment, stemming from a bloody armed robbery, that culminated in a gun battle in one of Providence’s premier restaurants.
