The question presented to the Court, in the context of a Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings filed by the plaintiff, is *498whether the language of a contract renders the defendant liable to the plaintiff for damages to property destroyed by fire. Because the contract at issue does result in such liability as to the defendant, the Court finds that the plaintiffs Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings shall be granted, in part, with respect to the cause of action asserted in Count I of the Complaint.
