This suit involves the establishment and foreclosure of a lien under the mechanic’s lien law. It was instituted against J. E. Lanier and Sadie E. Lanier, his wife, as the owners, or reputed owners, of lot 4, block 11, East Evergreen addition to the city of Phoenix, and N. S. Brown as the contractor to whom, the notice of lien and the complaint state and allege, the material was furnished and the labor and services rendered.
