Edward Walker, defendant, was found guilty after a bench trial of the offense of burglary, in violation of section 19 — 1 of the Criminal Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1971, ch. 38, par. 19 — 1). He was sentenced to a term of 6 to 12 years. Defendant appeals, arguing (1) that the prosecution’s disclosure of a letter allegedly written by him to the complainant in which he admitted the crime was prejudicial error; (2) that, when the State failed to produce the letter allegedly written by defendant, they were concealing favorable evidence; (3) that he was not proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt; and…
