Brought by separate libels in personam, identical except for the name of the libel*592lants, the description of the goods, and the amount of the damages claimed, but tried together, the suits were for damages to personal property, belongings, and effects of libellants carried by the Steamship Cape San Martin on a voyage from Calcutta,' India, to Savannah, Georgia.
