OPINION

{¶ 1} Plaintiff-appellant, the State of Ohio ("appellant"), appeals the judgment of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, which granted motions to suppress filed by defendant-appellee, Samuel D. Stokes ("appellee").

{¶ 2} Franklin County Sheriff Deputy Douglas Stahr stopped appellee for driving too close to a semi-tractor trailer in violation of R.C. 4511.34. Deputy Robert McKee arrived to assist, and the deputies found cocaine in appellee's possession. The deputies arrested appellee for cocaine possession and cited him for the traffic violation.
