Cyrus W. Beale, sometimes hereinafter referred to as the plaintiff, filed a motion for judgment against Doris Temple King, administratrix of the estate of Peter H. Kang, deceased, to recover the sum of $2,994 with interest thereon from July 24, 1943, for the fair value of legal services rendered to the decedent. After the defendant administratrix had filed a general denial there was a trial by a jury which rendered a verdict stating that they valued “the plaintiff’s services at $1,500 plus interest from July 24, 1943.”
