PALMORE, Judge.

The appellant, Fannie Jones, brought this suit against the appellee, Winn-Dixie of Louisville, Inc. (hereinafter Winn-Dix-ie), for personal injuries (a broken hip) sustained when she tripped over a concrete abutment on the premises of one of Winn-Dixie’s grocery stores in Louisville. The trial court directed a verdict for the defendant at the close of the plaintiff’s evidence. It is our conclusion that the evidence at this stage of the trial was sufficient to warrant submission to the jury.
