On December 16, 1920, plaintiff in error, Rose Komorowski, (then unmarried and bearing the name of Rose Schramko,) filed suit in the circuit court of Cook county against defendant in error, the Boston Store of Chicago, a corporation. The declaration included counts in assault, slander, assault and false imprisonment, and arrest and false imprisonment. Trial of the case resulted in a directed verdict for defendant in error, and upon appeal the judgment of the circuit court was reversed and the cause remanded. (243 Ill. App. 251.)
